looks ok, but you need to do.

1. mask off the outter area
2. Spray long even coats so no blotches will show up.
3. Make sure ur masking lines are sharp and straight, this way it will show up good vs looking like a hack job.

Keep pluggin away

Here is everything I have done with plasti dipped (clear and black). =)

Here's my SD grille plasti dipped then added 2 light coats of clear over the emblem and horizontal bars. I kept the mesh and emblem base without the clear.

My friend's IS250 wheels I did a while back.....also added a few coats of clear to give a nice satin look.

This is my winter wheel set I plasti dipped over a year ago. Without the clear.....After a while is does become a pain to clean so I would recommend some clear.

I used clear plasti dipped as primer then added engine enamel paint for color. Reason why.....once you get tired of the look you can peel off the paint with no issues. Just make sure you add enough coats.....thicker the coat=easier to peel off. Also, tons of peeps on other car forums are using the clear and black plasti dipped as primer on their wheels then adding any color paint they wish to use.

Nice Josh!
How is the paint holding up under the hood?

Thanks Shawn......holding up great! No chips, cracks, peeling, ect......Its been over 2 months now.

That grill looks sexy!! As with everything else, turned out real well! I know what I'm doing next. Well done Bro:approve:
Thanks Jason! Yeah, I def recommend.....it stands against daily driving better than any other paint I have used. Too bad....I no longer have the grill, sold it not too long ago. :(

Looks good what clear coat did you use after you used the plati dip
Thanks.....I used the duplicolor wheel clear paint:
Dupli-Color :: Wheel Coating

I waited about 30 min before adding clear coat.

Yup, for sure man. I would at least use 2 cans for 4 wheels. I did almost 3. If you don't plan to remove paint off then 1 should be okay but the more coats, the easier to peel off and more protection....especially during the winter months.

yea 2 or 3 cans on you're rims is the safest bet. Taking this stuff off with only one coat is hard as hell
