Here's what I suggest:

19x8.5 +40 mounted with 235/35-19's
19x9.5 +45 mounted with 275/35-19's

You do have to run a staggered set-up on your RWD. Lexus has tuned the suspension for wider rear wheels/tires and the 1/2" tire height stagger front to rear has to be maintained for proper ECU, ABS and TCS function.

In 20", the most popular flush set-up for your IS with stock suspension is as follows:

Front: 20x8.5 +40 mounted with 245/35-20's
Rear: 20x10 +40 or +45 mounted with 275/40-20's

If you want a deep lip, I recommend purchasing a 2 or 3 piece wheel.

Matt,

Will this setup fit on my IS350 with the F-Sport 1" drop without rubbing?

The fronts will fit with that size. I had an old set up with those specs and no rubbing. However, the rears I am certain it will fit. I would go with 265/30/19 for the rears.

Looks good from my end.

Even with the 1" drop, you shouldn't run into any rubbing.

My only suggestion would be to run a tire model that runs smaller in size. Tire sizes are just like shoe sizes. Some run larger while others run smaller even in the same size. Nitto, Hankook and Falken for example, typically run smaller in size.

what is the smallest rim size the is250 can go? Im Looking to get a set of rims for the winter and need more tire than rim for the snow. anyone got some good info on some good SNOW tires+rim set up? We dont get a ton of snow around here, but the last couple years we get hit hard with snow a couple times in winter. Which sucks cause that means the city is really shitty at getting the roads cleaned up. So smallest rim with good snow tires?

ideally, you should go with 17"s. However, im pretty sure 16"s will be just fine. Just remember to get them staggered.

Would an offset of +22 19x8.5 all around work on an awd? I found prodrives and i really like em. good price too!

Yes, an 8" wide wheel with a +35mm offset (5.9" BS) will work on your IS250 AWD.

Offset is where the backside of the mounting pad is located on the wheel from center. Back spacing is the measurement from the back of the mounting pad to the back edge of the wheel.

Image

For Example:

If you have a -12mm offset on a 9" wide wheel, the mounting pad would be 12mm towards the back of the wheel from the center. If you have a +12mm offset on a 9" wide wheel, the mounting pad will be 12mm forward from center.

I own a 2006 IS250 RWD and I have a set of Volk TE37 18x7.5 ET43 that I used to have them on my Acura FWD car. I tried them on my IS250 and they fit but the rear wheels are sinked too much so I need some spacer but not sure what size I need.

Another thing is, all wheels use 225/40/18 and since the rear tires are bald, I want to change to a wider tires. Do you think it's safe to use 235 or 245/40/18? What tires can you recommend?

Thanks in advance.

hey guys, i just picked up some linea corse lc818 rims but they got a +30 offset and was wondering if that would fit on my bone stock 2006 is250 awd WITHOUT rolling fenders or doing any mods? i was going to wrap them in 235/35/19. I've heard that the +35 offset will work but i'm curious if it will still fit?

They will fit for sure, but are you lowered? If you are, you will rub like crazy.

If you are lowered, I would get 225/35/19 tires instead.

With those wheels, I highly recommend that you lower the car. I have the same wheels and they would look super awkward if you are on stock height.
