Will 20x10 +43mm fit?

n00b here. I'm looking at getting the wife a 2009 IS250. I have a set of wheels that I would like to put on it. They are 20x8.5 +40mm and 20x10 +43mm. What are your opinions on these wheels fitting on the car, specifically, their relation to the fender lip. I don't necessarily plan on slamming the car but I do not want them sticking out of the fender either. Any opinions/help is appreciated.

Also, I've currently got 225/35s & 275/30s tires on the wheels. Will those size tires be ok? I would actually rather run a 245/35 up front as the 225 sidewall is tiny.

Thanks!
RWD. Thanks
The wheel dimensions are perfect but the tire sizes will not work at all. The IS250 RWD needs to maintain at least 1/2" tire HEIGHT stagger front to rear for proper ABS and TCS function. That said, I recommend the following sizes:

Front: 245/30-20
Rear: 275/30-20

Hi all,

Just got my rims for my '06 is350 from discounttiredirect.com and am now wishing that I hit up the board here before the order was placed because the fronts don't clear the calipers (surprise surprise).

I got Konig Lace wheels - 18x8" with 45mm offset. I didn't think I'd have a problem since I entered my make/model and they returned with a list of wheels that will fit my car. Like I said though, they didn't.

Would I have had any better luck with a 35mm offset (I know to a lot of ppl that will be a noob question but I am still confused about how offset truly affects the wheel) or do I now have to try and get a set of spacers for the front.

I don't want to return them since I had to pay $200 to have them shipped here and will have to pay about the same to get them back which is a bunch of BS as far as I'm concerned.

Any thoughts are appreciated...

Thank you for the post and sorry to hear about the fitment.

This in no way is an error on your end but rather ours. We are making improvements to our fitment guide and where the +45mm offset works on the rear, it does not work on the front (like you found out). The 18x8+35 Lace will work front and rear on your IS350 without hitting the brakes.

Contact our customer service department at 1.888.459.4080 option #2 and we'll get everything taken care of for you.

19" F-sport wheels on 2011 IS250AWD

I am interested in purchasing these wheels and want to make sure I order the right tires today and that everthing fits fine.

The wheel size is 19x8 with a +40 offset, I will be ordering 4 front wheels since it's an AWD.
Here is the official wheel specs if anyone has any questions:
IS F Sport Equipment: Lexus Performance Parts and Accessories - 19-in Full-Face Forged Alloy Wheels (RWD)

From what I can tell my options would be a 225/35/19 or a 235/35/19

Any concern for mpg or rubbing with either? Road noise? Would like something equal to or better then stock.

The tire that seemed to fit the bill the best would be the continental extreme contact DWS, I need an all weather tire.

Any help or other reocmmendation on tires is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I apologize for the confusion in the PM we replied to earlier this morning.

Yes, the 19x8 +40 F-Sport wheels will work on your AWD with either 225's or 235/35-19's assuming factory suspension is still being run.

Along with the DWS, the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus would be another great option to look into. Dollar for dollar though, the DWS is pretty tough to beat.

Thanks for the response Matt. I ran into this issue when it was too late to call the customer service (on saturday) and I just got back into town tonight so I will call them tomorrow.

I appreciate the response and this will do nothing but help your company's image. Every business makes mistakes but it's how they deal with them that truly shows what they're made of.

Here's to hoping that it won't cost me an arm and a leg to get it sorted out (I'm in canada so the free shipping didn't necessarily apply to me)...

getting 19 in wheels on my is 350
what offsets will fit
im thinking
19x8.5 in the front
19x9.5 in back
what offsets will work and what tires should i wrap with those wheels
stock suspension no drop
trying to see what will clear the front brakes without a spacer

Ok so I know every possible wheel size and fitment have been talked about and even more so beaten to death!! But... I have searched and searched and now im confused! All I need to know is what offset and tire size will look the best on a RWD is250(stock height) with 20's. Im going for a fit that is flush with the body and has a fat lip! O and one more thing to, do i have to run different size rims?? (dont really care for performance just saves tire wear if all rims are same size)

Here's what I suggest:

19x8.5 +40 mounted with 235/35-19's
19x9.5 +45 mounted with 275/35-19's

You do have to run a staggered set-up on your RWD. Lexus has tuned the suspension for wider rear wheels/tires and the 1/2" tire height stagger front to rear has to be maintained for proper ECU, ABS and TCS function.

In 20", the most popular flush set-up for your IS with stock suspension is as follows:

Front: 20x8.5 +40 mounted with 245/35-20's
Rear: 20x10 +40 or +45 mounted with 275/40-20's

If you want a deep lip, I recommend purchasing a 2 or 3 piece wheel.

Awesome matt! So why the two different off set for the rear? And any rim recommendation? (2 or 3 piece)
Both offset's work and with most multi piece wheels, you can set the offset to your specifications. The +40 to +45 is more of a guide for you with that tire size. The lower the offset, the more the wheel will push out towards the fender (typically speaking).

A good wheel that I like that comes as a multi-piece is the MOZ Formula.

No, he can not. That is not recommended at all.
