No, resistance wire heaters arent directional so doesnt matter which way you wire them.

as ^^^ said, it doesn't matter, it would be hard to mess up.

 

I have a name dammit...

 

The heater would need a 20 ohm resister to fool the ECU. It would be easier to just buy a new O2 sensor and space it out with anti foulers.

 

One wonders why you just didn’t disconnect the connector instead of cutting the wires?

Pretty sure its inside the cabin under the center console.

 

You would have to take out the passenger seat to access the connector for the last O2 sensor under the car, it's under the carpet under there.

 

You guys are better than me, when I do them on the 2nd Gen prius and GS I just get a little agressive with the carpet and pull it back from the firewall side down.
