Hey everyone so I got a 16 is350 F
Want to upgrade battery for daily use plus good cranking amps goin into winter
Has any one changed themself and had no issues with programming or functions after in other words is it a simple swap and no dash lights start to appear
Dealer told me they have to do it
Plus any battery suggestions thx again

I feel one of the best (but pricey batteries) is the SLI24AGMDP X2Power Premium AGM 840CCA BCI Group 24 Car and Truck Battery from Batteries Plus. It comes with 5 year free replacement. Just got this for my 03 IS300. I live in AZ so I try to buy the best batteries that will survive this heat. Odyssey has worked well for me in the past. Make sure you get the correct type battery for your car. I think you also take the group 24. Many Toyotas take the Group 24F which has the terminals swapped and will not work in a group 24 application.

Why does it matter if you change your battery? Don't batteries go 100% dead sometimes? If the computer lost any memory wouldn't it regain it over a few miles?

My IS300 came with a battery sleeve to protect it from something. My gen 2 Tundra has a corrugated sleeve to shield it. I would look into a battery blanket.

Write down your radio presets first. Pretty sure my Bluetooth settings weren't effected.
