I bought my gallon of coolant from the Toyota dealer. It is the long-life stuff, red coolant in a black jug. ~$20. The exact same product was $30 from Lexus.

Also be sure to use distilled water when mixing the 50/50 mix. Distilled water is preferred because minerals/impurities/etc in tap water can cause deposits in your cooling system.

Always use Toyota engine coolant fluid.

 

I will have to agree with the others......use OEM red coolant.

 

I did a full flush and switched to the orange coolant. (Didnt do a search to see what coolant to use. Good thing I did a full flush though.)

 

buy coolant from toyota, not from lexus. its almost 10 bucks cheaper per bottle at toyota, and its the same fluid

 

only use the Toyota coolant.
