Has anyone replaced their yellow fog lights with white ones? do you know if its just the bulb that is yellow, or is it the housing? i looked but i can't tell for sure. I plan to put some super whites in there, to try to match the HID headlights. i think the HID with the yellow looks kinda odd....

Are you kidding? I think it makes the car look SO distinctive. Only the new GS's have the same setup. So, even in the dark people will recognize your car

I agree with most people here...The yellow fog lights look extremely cool, and will definitely set it apart as a Lexus.

Now what are you smoking to think of degrading the IS with goofy Subaru Rally lights? Does this look like a rally car? I think the profile and stantz of this car is perfect right out of the showroom. I was thinkin of a body kit and changed my mind bigtime as soon as I brought my IS home. I love the fog light setup. I must agree with the other guys here... people know its either a GS or IS (if they know what an IS is) coming when they see you at night. a tol booth guy in NYC almost caught the vapors wheni pulled up to his window at 4am. -- He was like i was hoping that you would pull into my lane from waaay back of the bridge... this **** is phat! So the lesson we have learned is.. dont mess with the IS's face.

I have seen GS400s with HIDs and yellow fogs. Also, the '92-'95 ES300s had yellow projector beam fog lights. I used to hate those because they were so bright and people would leave them on even on clear nights.

i ask one simple thing on this board and people start saying im dumb for wanting to change the fog lights. great help i can find on this board. i just wanted to know one simple thing, but no, you guys say its "distinctive" and what not. i think most of you guys bought the cars to show off to friends, not to enjoy. and who is to tell me that my car would look ghetto with some HID look fog lights?

Hahahah the only car that can pull that off that isnt a Subaru has the letters "EVO VI" on the back.

So the two most quinessential cars with rally lights do 0-60's in ~4.7 with quarter miles in the 12's. (Impreza P1, Lancer Evo VI). When you reach those times, I won't dog you anymore, nor will I care what your car looks like or how many hella lights you put on it.

I put a brush guard on the front of my IS with some Hella fog lamps. It looks DOPE now. I think everybody should do this. I'm putting the roll bar on next, and I think I'll have at least four lights on that too.

Congratulations in catching a typo, funny guy. My point is that you suggested people bought the car to impress other people yet they are totally happy with stock form. You, however, are the one who is making cosmetic changes on the car, whether it's for yourself or others. So, it would appear that if anyone's chocked full of vanity, it would be you, Chuckles.

Yeah, I do agree that the yellows wouldn't match the headlights, but they're distinctive though..but they do distract a bit from the HID, and knowing myself, I want EVERYONE to know I have HID.

I'll probably end up buying HID conversions for those fog lights and then I'll have 2 pairs of HID lighting on the car....that you don't see very often!!! That'd be cool.

finally someone agrees with me. HID with HID is one of a kind. would look razor sharp on a black car too.
