It was late saturday night.. and I was cruising down the street in my white IS300 which I've only had for 2 months. I was in the farthest righthand lane.. and then.. suddenly.. I see a big white car to the left of me come into my lane... it hits my left side mirror and folds in it.. and then WHAM.. it makes contact with the main body of my car on the left hand side near the front.. and then again.. he hits me in the rear left.. I then pulled over into the gas station along with that person and also 2 other witnesses. Lemme tell you something.. watch out for em big azz trucks.. cuz they don't see us lil sedans.. he didn't even bother looking over in my lane.. he was just afraid of some car rear ending his..so he decided to take my car out when he tried moving into my lane. yeah.. I felt alittle whiplash(sideways). I was fortunate the side airbags didn't discharge. I took pictures of my poor lil baby.. all shook up and crushed in. It was that other person's fault.. who also had alittle something to drink.. but the cops didn't arrest him.. just gave him a few tickets and wrote up a police report. Now I will never look at my car the same.. and never look at big trucks like the ford F-150 the same.. beware.. cuz your pretty baby could get messed up just like that. That was the first serious accident I've ever been in.. and boy..were my parents mad. I'll try and get my accident pictures developed and post them up here.. cuz you've got to see what happened. It's what you call a real tragedy...

Seems like Saturday was a bad day for us Texans. My IS300 is in the shop too. Bad encounter with a rebar that messed up my baby.

i've made exactly zero friends in here, but i'm very sorry to hear that. i can imagine how i'd feel if i smashed up my CL -- a nice car is a nice car at that point.

Ahhh man, I feel for you. I had the EXACT same accident with a Suburban, except for it was on the passenger side. It sucked for me, and it sux for you... I feel ya. Good luck with your repairs.

i think i've seen your silver IS300 around the bellaire area too. i've seen two different silver ones... one with a big azz dent in the rear bumper..and one without one. hopefully you got the one without any dents! =/ man.. my back is startin to ache alil.. that who hit me better be prepared to pay for sum medical bills on top of the car repairments.

And about the street I was on when the accident happened.. I was on westheimer right before the beltway.. heading towards miami subs on saturday night... now I won't be goin there for awhile. hopefully I'll get a nice loaner car to keep me from going into depression over this =

Is your dealer giving a loaner car for the *entire* time your IS300 is in the shop? What is your labor/per charge? Mine is $100/hour. I got a ES300 loaner car this weekend, but they want it back even though I paid cash at MSRP in July 2000.

I just got bad news from my dad. He told me he found out that the other person's insurance expired a week before he hit my car. His own insurance company won't even take him back because he is bad on payments and he still owes for another accident which happened a week prior to mine!!! So either, he said he may take out a loan to pay me... or I'll just have to sue =( . Ghat damn.. my back is starting to ache again... I need a massage therapist.

I just found out from the dealership.. it could take a few months to get certain panels needed as replacements on my car... AAAAHHHHH!!!!!
