Well, the GS300 is really nice, but I still prefer my IS. It's fast, compact, handles great, and is just what I can afford.
Oh, and it looks great too.

The GS300 is a totally different car that is sold to a totally different buyer. Compared to the IS300, the GS300 has a much softer suspension and is designated a family car. If I was married, I could picture my wife driving the GS3 taking the kids to soccer practice.... Grishulia why are you comparing apples to oranges here?

Too bad ? What makes a GS300 a much much better car than an IS300 ? The Lexus manual, Lexus nameplate, and Lexus dealer where I bought my IS300 from would suggest to me that my IS300 is a real Lexus. If I wanted a bigger, softer Lexus, I would get a GS400, and not settle for a GS300.

On that subject, here are some more SAD notes. I could have bought Levi jeans instead of Hilfiger when I went shopping yesterday. I could have went to Red Lobster instead of Razzoo's for dinner last night. I could have taken my girl to see "Meet the Parents" instead of "Charlie's Angel's". I could have stayed at a Holiday Inn instead of Ramada. My point is, I could have done all those things, but I chose to spend MY money on what best suited ME. Just like all the IS owners here. Understood? Grow up, and get a life!

Most of us here never considered the A4 against the IS300. Many of us did, however, consider the S4. In my case, I chose the IS300 because it was less money and looks better.
As for the GS300, it's too big and more money.
Oh, and if you're gonna compare the IS to a Toyota, at least compare it to the right one, the Altezza. The Corolla is a fwd econocar in an entirely different class.

Hey... compare apples to apples... as EricK mentioned before... If an A4 has a minor lead over IS300 the S4 has a major one... not even comparable to an IS300... and you know it as well as I do!!!
