wondering what people thought-- I really miss having an LSD on my SportCross (only available in super-optioned models). the Lexus web page lists it as a $390 option-- do you think it would be available from the dealer at that cost? any idea what installation might be on that? I'm assuming the factory warranty would still be in place if i went the Lex route.

any other options worth considering?

Good question....I have a 2001 IS without the LSD would it be worth it to add it to a non-LSD car?? How hard is it to install???

no it's not at that cost because i wanted it to be put in my 02 is300 and they said some where around $2-3,000 i wish it was that cheap....they said it might be more with installs and such....but you do find a place thats cheaper please let me know

It really depends on how you drive. If like doing canyon runs or going to the track, I'd say go for it. If you're just a daily cruiser, I wouldn't worry about it.
Also I believe TRD also makes a LSD for the IS.
