It's called DSL and multitasking. Others might call it fukin off.

I have t1 line at work as well. But Card man I would expect you would have broad ban/cable access from home. I have Timewarner Roadrunner at home. SPeed my man instant access no phones. It is awsome, I am up all night on this damn thing!
mccarlin,
we're running NT workstations.
so they can see exactly how much time is spent on the net? assuming they are...
if you log onto a network then they can (you cant tell for sure)if they wanted to see everything.

one way to tell is if you try to go to a web site and it says that site in not available please see system administrato then they are watching you and blocking you out.

they run audits on you to see which web sites you go to then they can decide if they ever want you to go back there again, it really sucks when your on the receiving end!!!

Between hardly working and working hard. I'm just working. Completed most of my scripts, kinda planning my vacation. Half-Duplex cable modem at home. At work, Dual-OC3 for Internet use, plus an OC48 backbone, but not for Internet use, Intranet and Extranet. And a few dozen measily T1's and T3's.

I try to visit this board as much as possible, but lately there are too many idiotic posts to even bother, unfortunately.....

I check in several times a day from my desk at work. (Don't have a computer at home.) I dare the boss to say anything. I turn out much more work than ANY of the others here. He knows it. And I don't gripe when some project has to be done with unpaid overtime every once in a while. To put it bluntly, this place would would be hard pressed without me and that's not bragging...it's fact. (The company even gave me $3,000 toward my IS300 when it was decided the company would be moving from downtown and it became clear I'd need to buy a car. The buses don't get to the new location and he was afraid I'd quit! So, what's little surfing when your best employee is happy?
I have DSL at home and a T1 at work.

I am the guy at work that monitors the net connection to make sure that no one is wasting too much time on the web

I am usually doing 3 things at once, and type very quickly so I still get ALOT done aside from being on this bboard.

I wonder if I have the most posts on IS300.net???

By the way - any corporate site that has you go through a firewall (most do), can monitor traffic going through the firewall regardless of what kind of host/OS you are running. If they want to see what you are doing with your time they probably can.
