I've broken it down to 2 selections:

Bridgestone Blizzak LM-22 or the Michelin Pilot Alpin.

Does anyone have any experiences with these tires or know anything about them.

Any help would be appreciated...

They're probably both great. One of my coworkers just put the Bizzaks on his Audi A4 and went up to the ski slopes. I did ask how they were and he reported that they were very good.

I've got 225/45/17 Pilot Alpins. They are good, but I've heard the LM22s are better. If you want 17s, got for 205/50/17, or go with 205/55/16s.

The Pilot Alpins are quieter and ride better than the stock RE040s, but a bit sqirmier.

I just put a set of LM-22 on my stock 17"s 2 days ago. They are better than I thought. Quiet, not sure on performance yet since I haven't drove my car hard around corners.

Test

I have tested those tires (LM22) side by side with other tires in the same category on an IS300. Here are the results of the test...

Winter Test

I would put the Michelin between the Dunlop and the Pirelli.

Brandon,

So you're telling me that the Bridgestones will not hold up it's own against Dunlop or Pirelli's?
