Hey driving my sister back to school, on the way home I hear this loud chip sound and I see a tiny chip in the windshield.

Surfed the forum and found out that safelite is the best place.

They are coming tomorrow, but it rained today and it might rain tomorrow.

Will that effect the work they do? Will the moisture or water effect of the integrity of the work?

FYI, for future reference if you dont have Comprehensive insurance get it, that will buy you a new windshield w/o you paying a deductable. its only like $12 a year extra and that is way better then a $250 deductable.

Samething just happened to me a week ago. Too bad insurance over here (USAA) you have to pay the deductible. Thank goodness mine is the lowest. A new front window here in Germany is 600 Euro/1K USD!
