As far as I like the IS300 a lot BUT I don't think, I will feel comfortable and secure when buying the '01 model regarding to some issue with the ECU/Trac, hesitage to accelarate, or unable to stop.
Does anyone know or hear that Lexus will fix all of the above issue for the '02 model. Thanks

The TRAC/ECU problem only effected cars that rolled off the assembly line prior to February 2001.

I'm sure any and all issues with the 2001 IS300 will be addressed and/or corrected for the 2002 model.

I had the ECU problem for about two months. I took my IS in for some minor service & never had the problem since then. You think the dealer might have fixed the problem w/out telling me??
