I've ran a search and learned that the TRD strut bars is designed for Japanese 4 bangers and hence it has interference problems with US versions. What part does it rub to? Hood? Engine? Will removing the plastic engine shroud avoid this rubbing? Is there a way to make the TRD strut bars fit without rub

it will not fit over the engine without using spacers (like the cusco CF strut bar which OCIS is selling)

the 2.0L altezza engine sits lower and is narrower than our 3.0L therefore there are clearance issues

It's only made for the 3S-GE SXE10 Altezza, because the IS300 enigne is far too high and so is the IS200.
