Over the past month, every once in awhile I'd think I might be hearing a squeak from my brakes every once in awhile, showing that they are out and need to be replaced. I could never determine if it was a car around me or not, because it would infrequently happen. Anyways, I bought Axxis ultimate brake pads for both my front/rear and some SS brake lines and had them installed at LMS yesterday. My brakes feel WAY stronger, as strong as my dad's e500, and even has me re-learning the proper brake force, as I am acting like a new driver, way over applying the brakes. The point of the post is, I'm SURE I have the high pitched from my brakes now. When I was coming in to my house there were no other cars around and I was lightly applying the brakes to enter my driveway, and I definately heard it from my brakes. Why is this sound here? I thought replacing my pads would fix it.

did you break them in properly?

if not you might want to check out these links,
http://www.kitcarbooks.com/brakepads.html

especially this one, even though its written for a Big Brake Kit, it applies to normal brakes too.

break them in properly.

however, im going to tell you now that I have axxis Ultimates and they Do squeek once in a while. i guess thats what we get for better stoppage? but even when the squeeling does come up, after 10 mins its gone...

Never heard of breaking in brakes. I have done very little driving on them already, so I think im still good for breaking them in, but where the hell can I do a bunch of 60-10-60-10-60-10-60-10-60-10 passes.
