Hey guys,

What does everybody here thnk about the body-colored taillight covers for the IS300 from Rodmillen.com?

Frankly, I like the current ones, but the covers also look nice.

What dya guys thnk?

Hmmm.... Tailight covers add horsepower to your car!!!! It turns your car to skyline!!! You can kick almost every car's ass on the street with that cover!!!! It's better than viper stripes!!! Get 'em now!!!!!!

(Couldn't help my self... I think those covers add skyline-ish look to your IS...

they are plastic triangles that you attach to your tailights with double sided tape. and they are fugly. and for $160 they can kiss my Asian ass.

I bought mine from Rod Millen and I think they look the balls...and now it doesnt look like every Honda Civic,Prelude, ( IS wanna be ) anything to hide those ugly tailights...

I must say Gotago - that looks pretty sharp. Kinda like a mini GS300 (sorta).


Could anyone post pics of a SBM (blue) IS300 with the covers? A side and back shot from a distance would be nice.

Do you think you'll have any problems keeping them on with the double sided tape? Also, are they flush with car body or do they stick out a 1/4 inch? How long di it take RM to get them from Japan?

They look great and I'm ready to order them for my silver IS 300!

I think that it looks really nice. It makes it look a lot classier, even though it's pretty classy to begin with. This might sound like a stupid question, but after you order it for rodmillen, who puts them on for you?

honestly, i think it kinda of makes da car look cheap...
i mean the tailights for the IS is one of its unique attributes..
i mean, i know u see hondas, acuras, neons, with these backlights everywhere, but the IS is the first car to have tailights like that sold in America(i could be wrong..), which makes it kind of different..
it kinda looks like u painted the tailights or something...
but its my own opinion..

Just because somebody doesn't like what you have, automatically makes em jealous? nice logic.

vvtipwr asked what we thought, I stated my opinion on how I felt about its appearance and also how I felt of the price/value. The tailights on the IS are not ugly, the imitations that are on every other civic, mustang, f150 and dodge grand caravan are. and those covers do make the IS tails look like skyline taillights. and the fact that they are not flush with the body further uglify it. i do agree that the tails are played out and i would like a different look, that is why i am looking for tails that have the chromed part blue, but i am not going to settle on slapping a plastic cover. but thats just me. just because i dont have the same opinions as you, and dont jock your balls cause of your mods, does not degrade your purchase, (what does it matter what I think about your car?) so shut your trap and be happy with your mod. and BTW, you show an astonishing amount of maturity and poise when you revert to namecalling.
