Man that paint looks so cleannn
Thanks man. Your car looks great too :approve:

I'm hoping to add some new pictures by the end of the week...

Full brake setup is DONE - I'm going through the bed in process so I'll give better feed back in another 200 miles or so. They feel great right now though!

Figs CDDD is installed - Absolutely LOVE it. Can't believe I waited this long to buy it and get it installed. Makes driving a LOT more enjoyable.

Outer tie rods are installed - Of course the passenger side was siezed and took about an hour of a torch to get off. It was almost melting it was so hot. But it's done.

Carbing cooling plate is here - I need to test fit it first. It had some damage so I got it for a discount. I need to see how much work it needs before I decide to sell it or powder coat/anodize it.

3000k HID fog kit ordered - should be here by the end of the week. Bought through HIDextra.com on CL. $44 shipped so I couldn't pass it up

I've got 2 of the 5 spoke IS300 wheels on the front and 2 of the 11 spoke IS300 wheels on the back  My lug nuts are being anodized to match my calipers right now  Sucks having bald tires though, can't even rock matching stock wheels!

My trunk LED kept coming unplugged, so I finally took care of that yesterday. It's been annoying so I'm happy to have it done :p Added some heat shrink and electrical tape.

I need to buy a couple more wheel studs for my rear wheels. I replaced some that the splines stripped on already, but I didn't order enough of them. That's what I get for letting friends "help".

Since I went lower, my passenger side rear has given me lots of trouble with rubbing. I rolled/pulled the fender a little more the other day so I'm hoping it cures it. I haven't driven with my SSR's on since. I'll post some pictures of my tire later.

And I'm trying to find a trunk carpet/mat to buy. Mine never came with one and it's always bothered me. I think I'm finally going to take care of that!

Last but not least, I think I'm gonna have my girlfriends dad make me a shift knob. I love the stock knob, but I hate how scratched up mine is (from the previous owner). I'm trying to get one that is heavy and I'll probably have it chromed. But I'm trying to decide if I want a ball or something different... We'll see though.

I'm at the point now where I'm trying to decide what to buy next. More suspension, go fast, go faster, or some small dress up pieces??? Decisions decisions....

Pics will be up soon!

Is the Auto knob chrome over the entire thing? I can't remember if it's the same as the Manual knob but it's half "chrome" and half dark gray lol. So I'd rather just get a new one. Preferably for free

use a die set and thread the shifter down like 2 inches, and then lop off the top 2 inches.

Best think I ever did to the car, so much better.
Hm... I might consider doing that as well. I'd still like to buy a short shifter... Just so much $$$ for the Karl Sport.

It's a pain! Hopefully I don't have to mess with it anymore...

I'm going to buy you some gray t trim stuff and this would be my absolute favorite is300 ever. I miss white.
LOL You wouldn't be the first to have tried. I've been on his ass for a year now. BTW, there is a grey trim for the Camry SE. That one is about twice as thick as the ebay trim.

Have you considered getting shorter springs rather than messing with preload? Too bad the coilovers are already maxed out.
With the rates he chose it will be fine to drop the shock body and cut the travel a bit by playing with preload. at some point its the weight x the spring rate that you fight :) I might be able to get you shorter springs for the rear if you really want to go lower.

I wish you would have kept the white :( But favorite IS300 ever??? Maybe once I get some more POWAAA lol.

You guys should pitch in and buy some for me! :p You actually have me considering this right now though... Hmmm...

Can't wait to see it all put together Corey! Thanks for the info on the LS400 calipers, those will definitely be next after I get the Vertex painted and installed.

I like the new pics also.
Get you're car together!! Your wheels gonna be a 3 month wait? Hopefully yours doesn't end up like Rey's! (He waited 6 months if I remember right )

I was going to pick that one up but he already sold it. He just hasn't updated the thread. But I managed to get one on eBay from "justis300parts" for the same price :p

And shorter springs won't allow me to go lower, I'll actually be higher (I think...). My coilovers were maxed out with how much the shock body could lower into the bottom mount. So the only way to go lower is to drop the spring. With the RCA's up front I still have about 1/4" to 1/2" that I can go lower, but my tires would absolutely DESTROY my fenders. The rear was maxed in all my pictures so far, but I lowered it a few weeks ago by lowering the spring. Just haven't updated with any pictures... I'm really slacking on them...

Like I said above, I don't think shorter springs will help... And by the way, I've been meaning to let you know the RCA's have been a great addition. I'm really happy with how the car handles now. And the CDDD is awesome! I actually enjoy driving a lot more now. More 5 speed owners need to pick them up.

And of course, I still need just about one of every other product you make/will make

Really? That's awesome man! I don't have any really recent pics, but mostly everything I have is up on my website IS300STeeZ.com - Automotive Enthusiast
Sweet man. I'll check that out!

So I'm really being lazy on the pics lately :( No pics of the mismatched wheels, no pics of the brakes done, no pics of the custom stickers for my wheels, no pics of the cooling plate (not installed), no pics of anything! My lug nuts weren't done today and my HID kit didn't show up either.

I'll try to have some pics up this weekend though.

Oh and I'm surprised no one said anything about the caliper sitting by my front rotor? Do I need to post another teaser?

Yes, it was SIX months! I can't remember how many times they missed the rowboat from Japan.

I saw those weeks ago :p
Yeah your wait sucked... And SHHHH!! No one needs to know that I have other pictures

awesome :approve::approve::approve:
lol I knew you'd like the color choice!

SO I might buy some new gaskets for my lips. I was doing some looking around, and noticed that a lot of the Toyota gaskets were listed as BLACK and ended with C. Then I noticed that the part number BeanIS posted earlier (Gray - two pieces for the front -#7687802020B0) used a B. I switched the B with a C and what do you know? That gasket is now gone from Gray to Black.

I took the OLD part number guys used for the sides skirts and rear lip (Toyota PN #76875-06020-C0 - one long black piece - what I'm using on my sides and rear) and switched the C with a B. Guess what? It went from Black to Gray. So now I have a guarenteed piece for the sides and rear in Gray.

I might go buy 4 of the #76875-06020-C0 (1 for the front lip, 2 for the side skirts, and 1 for the rear lip). We'll see what happens. Part of the reason I haven't done this yet is because I wasn't 100% sure of part number that would work.
