Lately everytime I start the engine, there's a strong smell of gasoline coming through my vents. Where would you start to look?

Id look at the injectors.

Ive seen o-rings crack and cause a small gas leak.

look a the connections between fuel line and fuel rails, the copper washers sometimes leak.

i think another important question is, is this an is300 or negt gen?

yup start in the injector area. Open the hood, have someone start the car while you lean over and look at the injectors. Don't lean too close as it can spray in your eyes if something is pinched, other than that is should kinda just leak out.

Had this issue on our 2002.
