I cannot find a triple gauge pillar pod for my 2001 IS300 (NO SIDE AIRBAGS), I have done a search on this topic and all I can come up with is the pod that goes in the lint tray and personally I don't like it even if it was free let alone $150. PLEASE someone help me I've been searching the net for over a week. :x

I thought I saw Brian (fairuza11) had some a-pillar mounts, thought it was him.

Give him a PM, maybe he knows.

You can get a universal pillar mount that holds 3 gauges..its made out of black abs and screws onto your pillar.
you can get them from jc whitney or summit - but they dont have full replacement pillars.

or you can get sassy, and put the 3 gauge pillar mount on your pillar, and cover it, and the passenger side with black leather.

If you have enough people interested, gaugepods.com will custom make pillar pods for any type of vehicle. Not sure how many people would be interested, but might be something you could look into.

Looks like a good idea...I wonder if there is interest of 30 or more?

I have a single pillar gauge pod in my car. Have a 52mm autometer boost gauge in there. We used a gauge pod that was made for an eclipse i believe. fits pretty good. i was never a fan of it and now that i have the trd pod, its probably going to go. :chill:

:D Thanks for all the input I'm going to PM fairuza11 right now and then I'll contact gaugepods.com if I ever find any I'll let everyone know. I think the reason there so hard to find is because 2001 was the only year without an airbag in the pillar and plus there's that big empty space in the middle of the dash were everybody else puts there gauges, I just want to be different but if I have to I'll just buy the new TBKO pod for the lint tray. Thanks again!

PILLAR PODS

all of you wishing or already have a pillar pods, ...my question is did you forget about the side curtin airbag? It is in the pillar, and you very easily could damage that system with your screws, or make it useless by covering it up. Just a thought.

I dont believe he does...but I know for certain ISMAN does, noticed them in his car at our last meet....he has a 2001, no need to worry about airbags in them...

bump , any more info on this?

I would like to have four gauges (tbko pod will hold 3)

I will have my airbag disabled for a single gauge pod, for boost.

The very very few single pillar pods I have seen are way off as far as color.

Anyone wanna share a pic or if you have contacted a company to custom make one and looks good dont be bashful.
