Fluidyne...? ???? others....?

OK... if you had the chance to replace the radiator with an upgraded one that will fit in the car just like stock WHERE WOULD YOU FIND ONE &
can i even get one that is better/bigger, & mounts like stock..???


I am thinking that with the SC & the oil cooler for the SC PLUS the oil cooler i will be adding for my engine oil... i will be restricting the air flow significantly thru the radiator with two oil coolers "blocking" it a bit...

so, since i need a new radiator anyhow... perhaps a upgrade is in order....??

please let me know wut u think asap...

As of a few months ago, Fluidyne said they had no plans for our car because there was no demand. You can call 1-800-358-4396 and ask.

Ditto, still waiting for others to make one.....until then only way is to custom...

i have the largest intercooler that would fit in the IS front end without hacking the frame, i have not had any cooling issues, my car never gets hotter than about 194 degrees (i know that because of my aem)

i do have dual spal fans on my car, which together were as much as most aftermarket radiators, but they are well worth it

Were they is3 specific? I don't remember if it was spal or another company that had a generic gs300/is300 kit with universal mounting brackets.

looks like in case i go custom i am screwed then....????? any one have a clue how much a custom radiator runs. generally......????

i have an OEM replacement KOYO brand radiator in my 01. dont think it performs substantially better than the OEM one, but its what fits and works... if anything, id look into the supra radiators, they look very similar to ours, but there are other issues to look into such as mounting clearance which no doubt will be different between the supra and IS300

why did u replace your stock one with that Koyo...??

does it look/mount the same do you use the stock fans etc...?
are there ANY differences...?

Is koyo a "tuner" brand or more like an OEM substitute/replacement part supplier?
