I am wondering the same thing here in PA.
No signs of snow YET but I dont want to caught offguard, but on the same note, I dont want to take off these sweet wheels!!
(stock 17's I am referring to)

I would say so yes....luckily lexus gave us a pretty good jack so I will be changing them on the fly as I keep an eye on weather.com. It takes about 10-15 minutes to switch them.(for me anyway)

I put mine on yesterday. Dunlop Graspic on the 17 stock wheels.

It snowed 2 days ago...gettin cold now. I'm in MA and CT.

I'd suggest a 2 weeks or so.
And yes, drivin on dry pavement will decrease tire life. However, if you only use them during the winter, should last for like 4 years.
