Funny how Lexus of Orlando was all over us today telling us all sorts of cool stuff was coming in the next year.DANtheIS300MAN said:
Funny, the owner of Lexus of Orlando was at the meet today. He said it will never happen on the IS350. Stating how its not worth it to Lexus. He did, however, state that a 6-speed is *possibly* in the works for the upcoming ///M & AMG style series that Lexus apparently has in the works.METEORO said:The other that they did not say yes or no, but gave us this look as to say we were in the right track, was to a manual tranny on the 350 coupe.
Did they mention anything about pulling fuses on the VDIM?METEORO said:Jruhi4 and I went to the Miami International Auto show press conferences yesterday, though Lexus did not have one, we were able to chat with the product specialists at the Lexus stand.
They did not say anything concrete, but both hinted to something dayviewing at the Geneva auto show, and kept looking at the LFC concept.
Looks as there will be a coupe and convertible coming next year.

Ha ha... you should have told them you got the idea from their chief engineer, who seems to turn it off at the press events he goes to! Still trying to figure out the benefit of showing us something that we can't use. Don't get me wrong, I'll love this car, but it's the teasing I can't stand!METEORO said:Nope, actually they kinda gave me this evil look when I mentioned to them that I wanted to disable VDIM.
When the GM's had their meeting in Toronto last month, they did mention the IS coupe and another all-new SUV both will arrive in 07.DANtheIS300MAN said:
