I am thinking about selling my IS.

It has 83,000 miles on it, 2001 white pearl.

Lowered and system, intake and exhuust, put about 10k into it.

Blue book is about 20k, should I sell it now b4 I hit 100,000 miles and take the 25k loss or drive it until it dies...

What would you do?

I like the car, but want something new. on the other hand, i put a lot of $$ into my baby and don't want to loose it..

Please advise,

Thanks

Keep your car until it dies peacefully. You already spent a lot of money
on it and if you sell it you'll lose money. Buy a new car and keep the IS!

cars are a depreciating investment. and mods will never add value to your car when you sell it. if anything,it will hurt the resale value. If you want to really sell it, put it back to stock, and sell all the mods seperately.

I plan on keeping my IS until it konks out on me... which won't be for a while.

why not just keep the car, and enjoy it. high mileage doesn't mean a thing when the car is running perfect and have had no major problems with it.

when it comes time for me to get a new car, I will keep the IS and mod the hell out of it. I'm talking the works.. and I'll do it myself, just for fun. Kinda like what is300soon is doing with his red project car.
