I am looking at buying some staggered wheels. 19 x 8.5 in the front and 19 x 9.5 in the rear. I still have a stock stance on my '01 IS300 so will the 19 x 9.5s rub in the back? And sooner or later I will be going lower so??? Any IS owners out there that sit on 19s, I would appreciate the feedback.

offsets are going to come into play

what wheels are you looking at?

There is a whole section on guidelines etc.. in the 1st gen IS300 wheel section

I used to have some 19x8.5s...no rub, but you have to get the correct offset for it to work...I know theres some guys runnin staggard 19s on here, do a search for the size and offset and Im sure you'll find somethin

I am lookin at some Tenzo Type-M version 1 wheels. I know the 8.5s will be fine in the front, but what about the 9.5 in the back?

i can vouch for 18's

one of my is300's is currently on stock suspension with 18 x 9.5 with a +45 offset in rear, 265/35 falken tires, and i only rub on hard dips and bumps.

Changed my mind when I saw these. I like the red lip with black. They only have these up to 8.5 in width so guess I will get 18 x 8.5 all around. Give me your input on these.

OK I think I have decided on the ones I posted above but now will they fit!?!
I want to get the staggered set of 18s.
Fronts are 18 x 8.5 and rears are 18 x 9.5.
The offset is +35.
Please some one tell me. I need to know ASAP.
Thanks everyone.

No, not going to happen unless you do some fender work and stretch the tires

When I had 18's here was my set up:

18X8.5 +42

18X7.5 +43

Work Emotions and they fit fine

Im runnin 18x8.5 +35 w/ 255/35 tires in the rear and 18x7.5 +35 w/ 235/40 tires in the front (staggered but the lip is the same all the way around)...it will work. you will have to roll the fenders (I would suggest doing it before you get the wheels) but its doable.

EDIT: I thought you were doin 19s all around?
