it is a factory spoiler i got from the dealership. it looks exactly like the GS400 spoiler with light and everything.

it cost 600.00 at time of purchase painted and installed. right now its 895.00 option

Is it exactly a GS400 spoiler or does it look similiar. Do you just buy a GS400 spoiler and it fits exactly. Are the measurements the same.
it looks exactly the same as the gs400 spoiler but i am not sure if it is the same one. the dealer told it was a factory spoiler they had to get. if they ordered a new gs400 spoiler then they did.

i am not sure. just ask a dealer for the factory spoiler.

i have only seen a few cars in my area with this spoiler. it definatly make a HUGE improvement in my opinion

Sean-

Yeah, I just got off the phone with the service manager and it looked to be covered under warranty. He said as long as there is no point of impact and just a crack, then it is covered. He said it there is a hole or space where a penpecil tip can fit in, then it was caused by some sort of impact and that would not be covered. So he ordered the part for immediate replacement.

This week has not be so good for my whip and me, I got egged last night in a parking lot. I ended up freezing my a$$ of in a self carwash at 10:00pm giving it a shower.

Hey at least my mirror is under warranty and I got the egg off before it ate my paint.
oops sorry fellas about the previous post. wrong thread
800 bucks and it does not even tickle my pickle. I think the RMM looks nicer on the IS300 then the GS/F40 wannabe wing.....
The dealer in my area had a Diamond White IS with the factory spoiler already installed. It was sitting next to an Auburn with no spoiler. Comparing the two, I thought the spoiler added a nice touch, more sporty appearance.

No no Mcclarlin you got it because your M3 is dated ugly and revolting at best..... The Is300 is the ultmate car even if you make it ugly with those wings
Sorry to say gentlemen but that is not a factory spoiler. There is not spoiler directly from the factory. Lexus dealers only offer spoilers that are after market. They are usually put on from a company that is contracted out by the dealer, but there is no "factory" spoiler offered. My roommate works for Lexus and has confirmed this. His dealer ship contracts out a company to come do the work and they install the same spoiler.

Also that spoiler is not the same exact spoiler as the GS version. It is slightly smaller to fit the IS trunk lid. It also is very heavy for the trunk too. My roommate advises to get the Rod Millen spoiler or even the small lip offered from TTE (Toyota Team Europe).
Sorry didn't want to piss anyone off. Just what I have been told from a very reliable source.

IS300Sleeper is absolutely correct. Lexus does not offer a spoiler. I bought the GS looking spoiler for my silver IS300 from the same company that the Lexus dealers in the Dallas area purchase them from. A place called blankenship Aero. Painted and installed it cost $495.00 with tax. If I would've went through the dealership they were marking it up to I think $795.00. The spoiler in the picture looks more like the M3 than the GS spoiler.
