out of curiosity, just wondering which ones the dealers have given you guys....i'm due for my routine oil change, but no time to wait, so they're giving me the loaner.

i've got the RX, ES, and the IS. if u don't mind waiting a bit, u can ask the dealer when the car u want is available. when i had my '99 GS3 (before i traded it in for my current IS), i asked for the IS. the RX was fun to drive too, especially when parking cuz i could just drive up the pavement and sh*t to park it, instead of going back and forth to line it up.

P.S. - just wondering, when do i start getting rated?

I got a f-ing 2000 Malibu

I'm jealous. Can I go to another service dept.? Mine uses Enterprise so I dont think I'll ever get a Lex rental which sucks. You guys get Rx ES WTF!!! I think if use another service dept other than the one where I bought my car they wont do the drop off rental thing. Any know if this is true??

what kinda lexus dealer is that? all the dealers here, near the L.A. area, have their own loaner cars which are ofcourse all lexuses. FYI, u don't have to go to the dealer where u bought the car to get serviced. down here, i either use the glendale or the beverly hills lexus.

Hehe...Longo Lexus in El Monte, CA, provides the aforementioned RX, ES, and IS loaners. Last time my family took in the ES300 for service, we got a white RX loaner w/ the license plate: LONGO69. Last I heard, there were 70 loaners at Longo, and they get checked out real fast.

Got my IS in the shop today (replacement of driver's seat rails and ECM update [no TRAC update yet]) and they gave me an ES. I have no regrets not buying an ES.

Just dropped my IS off a few hours ago. They gave me a 01 ES 300. It's nice but.... it ain't an IS.
