From what I heard, I think they use Akebono. I'm not too sure, but can anyone let me know what they actually use as OEM brake pads? I would also like to know what brand they used for OEM rotors.

As for OP, after looking on Lexus of south Atlanta, they show NiBK, with part number 529, however if you go to NiBK's site, they have a different part number in their system that matches up with our car, P/N 1324.

Also on NiBK's site is the manufacturer you stated earlier, Akebono. But they simply list it as a cross reference.

You could buy either Akebono or NiBK, list it as the OEM brand, and call it a day; although good luck trying to get a hold of them easily. It appears you have to make some phone calls or more research into the pads.
