Really looking for a stock look with either the trd pod (60mm)or tbko pod(52mm). It would be nice to have a chrome face which would match very well with the interior of an IS. I am looking for electronic gauges only. Havent completely decided on what types yet, I know I want boost and egt and either fuel/oil pressure or oil temp and last air/fuel.

Hey bro-

Let's meet up and I'll show you my gauges, the Greddy Electronic Silver faced/orange backlit gauges- they match the interior PERFECTLY.

Hit me up with a PM or IM. Since you referred me to my salesman, it's been like a year- we're long overdue to meet up anyway.

Peace,
-Chris

Randy, I actually had not looked at my gauges to see whether or not the color was produced via a plastic gel or via bulbs- I see a 'white light' emitted behind the needle, and behind the buttons, however, which leads me to believe that the bulbs are regular incandescent white. I will check for you when I get home, to see how it is done. If the bulbs are indeed how the color is produced, I would imagine that Greddy NA would be more than happy to sell you replacement bulbs in the color of your choice. If it is a gel, however, I fear it may be more complicated, and involve tearing into your gauge, swapping, and putting it back together again, which is also a solution, and probably not too difficult a task in and of itself.

I'll let you know.

Sweet Chris thanks, I know when I was messing w/ my gauges I took out the bulbs to see if it was possible to replace them, but it never crossed my mind about the possibility of it being gel coated. Now that I think about it they probably are geled cause I remember the bulbs were orange in color but it lights up green, the black faces that is.

8) I've seen the Defi Gauges and they are a perfect match. Black face with white lettering and lights up orange. I don't know if people have a brand preference but these and the Omori's are the only ones I know that match.

Has anyone found a 52mm gauge with an orange backlight? Preferably with a black background, not white or silver (matches our instruments better).

I am having no success...
