Yo!!
I have a problem...
I'm eagerly waiting for the new IS 5-speed next yr..
but i'm tempted to buy the new Acura TL-Type S..
wat do i do???
i heard its gonna be tight...
260hp, more agressive frontend, new headlights, tailights, interior modifications..

i know it'll only be a 5-speed auto tranny, and i was really looking forward to da manual for da IS..

my friend has a TL and hes says he loves it...and is positive da new Type-S will be phat!!

but i luv IS's..

cut this short, i will take 5speed IS, drive few hondas/acura before, they are good cars nothing wrong with them, but forntwheel man! IS handles much better... just go test drive them both and then choose.. after all, we all have different preferences.

TL Type-S's will be begging me to slow down...
hehe...

but then again...
im not much into racing anymore...

ive been through dat tuning stage long enough...
i have a fixed up accord..
i mean i like it, but i think a TL-S will just be a high-class accord..
i want something different..

i just have to commend on the IS's handling capability. Last night, i was on the ramp to the free way, and there was a split, one goes to 90-94, one goes to 290. I had to go to 290, but I was on the lane that go straights to 90-94. I did a maneuver, which is about 5-10 feet away from the "yellow cans". I got on 290 with no sweat...

I've got the perfect solution. Buy an automatic IS right now. Then trade it in when the manual comes out!! =D

Yeah... what Badman said... buy the IS now and trade it in for the 2002 model when it comes out. Just picked up my IS this past Saturday and totally love it!!

theyre both great cars, but its up to you. if you are planning on building a street monster, let i mind you fwd cars starts to have traction problem after hitting 13s, most of you who are into drag racing probably understand wat i am talking about. its just a matter of what you want and what fits your personality.
