Well I just got a 16 is200t and was trying to run some wires through the main grommet near the break pedal. As many times before I use a drill bit and vice grips to at least get a feed hole started....
Well... as I was working from the bay in, it slipped through. Great I thought. Now I can do a bit of work on the inside, then done..
Yup.... That slip ran across the main coil of the wiring harness. No fires, no smoke, etc. Just won't start and run.
Anyway tomorrow it's off to lexus.
I'm just curious how far they are bend me over the table to fix it.?..

I can grab a pic in just a bit.

Never work on a car again... ever. If you're a home owner, don't even work on your own house.

The dealership isn't going to bend you over. You raped yourself.

I dont understand. I don't think your totally Effed.

Why not just grab some soldering gear (Soldering Iron, Solder Pot ~for pretinning wires ~ and Solder Material - and some matching stranded wire and re-solder the wires you split together?

There must be something I am missing...

I didn't mean to be so harsh. I do apologize. It sounded like a drill bit was put into an area it shouldn't have.

I was reminded of horror stories when people drill through gas tanks and harnesses.
