**** can anyone help me??????? After leaving a party, i started my baby and, after bout say, ten minutes of heating, i started to hear like a thundering/bubbling noise. At first i thought like there was a cat under my car but, it sounds like it was comming from the back, but, i dunt really know where. I drove say like a half a mile and parked, and the noise was gone. After, i dropped someone off turned off my car and waited for like a half hour, den i heard it again. It seems to go away after i drive for about a mile. Can someone tell me what the freak that noise is cause its really scaring me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

First, I don't know what the noise is.

Second, if you're filling your fuel tank,
and continue to top off the tank after the
pump initially cuts off, stop doing that and
the noise will probably go away. Overfilling
the tank floods the charcoal cannister in the
emission system, and you may be hearing fluid venting out of the cannister.

Yes the noises sound like they are fluids but, my tank was exactly half full at the time and i do not over fill my tank.
it could be your under carriage. same thing happend to me - sounded like a thundering noise.
Whats the deal with the undercarrige????????????
hmm I hear what sounds like water bubling behind my dash sometimes when I first take off of a morning but never took it in to the shop for that yet..

I've had the same thing happen to me, but like grey_is300 said, it sounds like it was coming from behind the dash, and when the car is cold. Bubbling sound may come from the heater core having air in it, but I'm not sure. It has only done it once or twice.
good to see that some people are using search! :D

but this thread was created about 3 years ago...

OKAY...I KNOW this is an ancient thread, but now I've got the "water noise" in the dash. Has anyone had this diagnosed?

A couple of comments:

1) This thread may prove helpful:

2) My car is at the dealer as we speak. 37,500-mile check, replacing the clutch :pissed: AND having the "water noise in the dash" fixed. I'll post more info when I get the car back (hopefully tomorrow).
