Just wondering if throwing some weight in the trunk of the IS300 for winter purposes would mess with my stock suspension? I was thinking around 150 pounds. Did a search and didn’t find much. thanks...

I can not see this as a help or a hurt for that matter. The weight on the IS is almost fifty/fifty front and rear. That seems to the best you ever could do. Try it and see, how much weight are you thinking?

Don't worry about it. 150 lbs on a 3400 lbs car isn't much relative...

When it snows hard I put 40 KG of sand in the trunk (approx 90 lbs)...

By the way, if you are adding weight for winter purposes, try to distribute the weight as close to the rear axle as possible. This will maximize your traction. DO NOT put it all in the tail end of the trunk. You don't want your IS swinging like a pendulum in the snow...
