Water spots on the lights.........help

I was washing the car today and noticed these water spots on the plastic light cover.......i tried windex and no luck getting it off...........could someone help me thanks nicky

They seem to have been baked on since the Day lights are always running.........

I use Rain-X Glass Polish whenever I had water spots on my windows...that stuff really gets rid of them. And it should work fine on plastics. Another method, try it with the mixture of vinegar and water.
