On the owners forum there was a reference to the vvTi feature being responsible for 'wasting' gas. If the vvTi does, utilize a lot of fuel, what benefit to the performance is contributed by that 'feature'? Supposedly I will have my owners code in 72 hours---the ship is in dock now.

MSM/Black, LS, SR<-----correct terminology??

VVT-i (Variable Valve Timing with intelligence):

MSM/Black, LS, SR<-----correct terminology??
The VVT-i continually optimizes intake-valve timing over a broad range of engine speeds. It increases torque at lower speeds and horsepower at higher speeds to improve engine performance and fuel economy, as well as lower emissions.
