Hi there brothers and sisters,

I've been searching for days on google and other forums but I never really found a concrete answer.

Can my VVT solenoid cause mis-fire? (Yes)

Can it cause faulty low compression? (?)

The codes that I'm getting are:

P1349 VVT Solenoid issue
P0300 Random misfire
P0301 Cylinder 1
P0302 Bad Spark plugs, wires, coils, fuel injector, vac leak, cam sensor, low compression.
P0306

I've done a dry compression test and 2 cylinders are at around 130+ and the others are around 158+

p0301 means misfire detected in cylinder 1

same with p0302 and p0306 it means a misfire has been detected in cylinder 2 and 6.

what you listed for p0302 could be reasons for the misfire.

I know a faulty vvt solinoid can cause a misfire in multiple cylinders, but how I don't know. and if it would cause a low compression in only one cylinder too.

I'd do a leak down to see narrow down what's causing the low compression in cylinder 2.
