i have some spare money lying around.

what i would like to know is...how far can you go, performance wise, to stay within emissions standards? (<without paying someone some money just to pass you)...i fear that headers might be the kicker, but i don't know. anyone around here have experience with this? thanks for any replies.

I highly doubt you will pass emmisions with aftermarket headers. I took out the Y-pipe cat but still have the ones in the heads. Won't know about emissions till I have to get inspected in a few months.
