hey guys,


this may sound stupid but i am playing to but an used SRT intake from a friend who has a 2001 IS, would the R-ecu fit on my 2003?

yes, as long as it was used for a car with the same transmission. At least im pretty sure about that? I know u can use them for later cars though..

The SRT intake w/ (R)ECU is transmission independent. But it is IS ECU dependent, the 2001 layout is different from 2002-3.

So essentially you can take a SRT intake from any IS and stick it in yours. The only thing you have to do is clean it and properly solder the wires according to your year model.

I don't think the ECU from SRT is dynamic, it has static settings. On the other hand, the one on the IS is adaptive.
