If one is in the works, it'll definitely make a lot of people happy. BTW, the IS200 has a 2.0 litre 6 cylinder engine. I suppose due to the low displacement, output isn't quite impressive (150 hp). But on the plus side, the engine weighs less and is probably more fuel efficient. The addition of a turbocharger should make up for the power deficiency (provided there is little or no lag), and improve performance and appeal.
They should consider offering such renditions here in the US. Frankly, I'd even be interested in the VVTi-L 4 banger that makes 210 hp.

Yes, this is somewhat correct. If you're reffering to the TTE modified IS200 that Lexus UK is planning to sell. The car will be supercharged though, no turbo...

The latest news I recived was that they had some problems with getting the car type approwed. This means that the car might not hit the streets...
