has anyone messured the pressure coming from the union bolt local using an 1/8 in. fitting? or any size fitting?

I've heard that's sketchy pulling oil from there, but I'll let someone more knowledgable cover it. That's what was explained to me from someone pretty bright though.

this could be a stupid question but i also owned a SER and when they turbo'd those cars they put a pressure restrictor on the turbo oil feed line is that necessary on a is300?

Yes, you need to have a restrictor on the oil supply at the turbo, however all the new turbos units fron Turbonetics comes with a restrictor and built in filter.
