The IS300 2JZ-GE engine has some minor modifications as compared to the Supra engine...
Keep in mind that the N/A versions may not be built as strong as ones designed for factory turbocharging. Among other things the compression ratio of the N/A engines is higher than the factory turbos... So - just adding a Turbocharger to the IS300 will not make it "equivalent" to a 2JZ-GTE Supra turbo engine.
