Anyone know the truth? I have read multiple reports that state either 7.1 seconds, or 7.6 seconds.

In the book that the lexus dealer gave to me, it says that the 0-60mph time is 7.1 seconds.

I wonder if the 7.1 derives from Lexus or actual tests?

A half second is a BIG difference.

I read the Edmunds review, it says 7.5 sec 0-60. Maybe you were looking at the First Drive? My 325i manual supposedly does it in around 7.0, but the IS300 feels about the same, don't worry about the numbers, having to shift into 3rd hurts the 0-60 time.

I assume you mean the auto on the Lexus must hit 3rd to get to sixty, hurting the time.

You need to hit 3rd with you bimmer though, right?
