Does anyone know where the sensor for the outside temperature gauge is located? My IS300's temp is accurate in some ways. But if I knew it's location I might be able to rationalize its wierd readings somtimes. My A4 and IS300 can both be sitting in the garage. And at startup, they read drastically different temps. However after a short drive, they come to just a degree or two of one another. So like I said, if I knew the sensors location, I might be able to make sense of it. My A4 is the more accurate(sensible) of the two. The IS300 gets really high readings after being parked for a while. I'm thinking it may be located close to the ground and picking up some of the asphault temp. Who knows???

It may be for you.
For me, it is one of the most important gauges the car has during fall/spring time.
When the summer tires are on, I pay very close attention as to how close outside temp gets to 32.
