Hey! you guys are awesome, hopefully you all can help me one more time!

my girlfriend was driving the car a couple days ago, one of the cold days (I live in Florida, not a usual day, VERY rare heh)

and she said she "pressed on the gas and it took a while before the car jerked itself into gear"

I'm a little about the 40K mark, and I was wondering IF my tranny goes, is it covered under Lexus warranty (I still have I think 5,000miles left on factory?) , or my dealer warranty (got it from a Honda place)

and if there is anything I can do to prevent a future problem.. I am PRAYING my tranny doesn't go!!!!

Was your tranny serviced at the 30,000 mile interval?? How many times had this occured?? Well, depending on the year of your car, the powertrain waarrant is 6 yrs, 70,000 miles (Lexus).

I dont think it was, either way I didnt own the car then so I cant tell u..

you should probably go get the tranny flushed and filter cleaned if it has never been done...I wouldnt recommend takin it to the Handa place, go to Toyota, or if your car is still under warranty, go to a Lexus dealership and have them do it
