Here the skinny,

McGrath Lexus of Chicago called after I told them of the fix in Tulsa for Tranny ECU.

They informed that the Tranny ECU fix is available but that it is one part of a two part process.

1. Tranny ECU Flash upgrade
2. Traction Control Recalibration

He told me that they are waiting on new computers to address 2. and that they would get it sometime in March.

So I guess everyone can get ECU upgrade but don't forget to address the Traction Control issue.

I guess my new user name should be "sometimeinmarch"

SWEET. Thx for the info.... So is this a "fix" or an option? What i mean is will they make the change during a normal service or will i have to leave the car in the shop and pay big bux?

I do not know if they will be proactive. Definitely mention it to them when you bring the car in.
