2008 IS250 RWD. I have TSW 19” wheels and just had all 4 TPMS sensors replaced at Americas Tire. They said the TPMS light should go off after I drive the car a few miles…well I’ve driven a few miles and it’s still on. Red triangle check system and orange TPMS light.

I’ve tried the reset (on/off) button on dash and it does nothing other than toggle between main and 2nd. Is there another TPMS reset button hidden under the dash somewhere? Does the spare tire have a sensor?

Americas tire tried resetting the TPMS several times and still couldn’t do it. They are able to read all the sensor IDs but keep getting error message C2172 which states “Main Second button is not in Main, put it in Main”…when it is actually in Main…
They even brought out another set of TPMS sensors to load into the 2nd setting and it still won’t work.
Has anyone else had this issue before? What is the solution? I just spent $300 on 4 new sensors and I still have the Check System message and dash lights!!! Frustrating…
Can someone please help? Am I gonna have to take it to the dealer and get bent over???

Unfortunately not a lot you can do. A dealership should be able to see if your main to secondary tpms switch is good. Other than that they can also check and see the tpms codes to help troubleshoot.
