Is it me or did we get shafted on the Titanium Tweeters promised in the Brochure?

If they were titanium shouldn't they have metallic color?

The reason I'm asking, I just got a new set of speakers for my home entertainment
, and they the utilize titanium tweeters, which look to be metal to me.

Titanium is a metal. They appear to be a softdome tweeter to me which is actually better than a hard dome in terms of sound. The soft dome is much more natural and less harsh than a hard dome.

That's what I was thinking too.
It seems the high-end setups are using titanium. IS300 system was supposed to get them.
Maybe, they can handle more power.
I guess, I'll find out.
I blew out 5 tweeters in my home system so far. Those things just kept overheating (I know it's unrelated to the titanium issue.) So, I just got fed up and bought a different set of speakers, which happened to have titanium tweeters.
