Well, I've had my IS for 3+ years now, and I am thinking about getting rid of it.

Here is the lowdown:
2001 Auburn Sky Pearl/ black ecsaine
43000 miles
no LSD
moonroof

Here are the upgrades:
EXTERIOR:
Stillen Body Kit
S2 Lip Spoiler
UGO replica roof wing
Black painted headlights
Catz MSC foglights
'02 smoked tails
Flatline shorty antenna
Flatline Eyelines

INTERIOR:
Cobra Opus Seats (wrapped in black suede leather)
Tenzo Shift Knob & Ebrake
DG Motorsports Carbon Roll Cage
Wet Works Painted dash and surroundings
Autometer voltage guage for stereo
Autometer NOS guage

AUDIO:
Audiobahn Rack Mount Amp 1X400
Audiobahn Rack Mount Amp 4X100
Audiobahn Rack Mount EQ
Audiobahn Rack Mount Capacitor
3 Audiobahn 8" subwoofers in custom painted enclosure
Audiobahn Wiring
Optima Battery
Audiobahn 3 way 6X9 rear deck speakers
Audiobahn 5 1/4" components for doors
Audiobahn 6.5" monitor (front in place of nav)
Audiobahn 7" monitor (on roll cage for rear seating viewing pleasure)
Audiobahn 7" monitor (in trunk)
Playstation 2

ENGINE:
JoeZ intake
Stillen Exhaust
Nitrous Express 150 Shot EFI (wet) setup (not installed yet)
TECK Grounding kit
MSM Painted Engine covers

SUSPENSION:
TEIN Flex coilovers

BRAKING:
Stoptech 14" Big Brake front slotted kit

I think that is about it. There are about $25-27K in upgrades listed. I was thinking my car might be worth $30K. Any thoughts and opinions?

Nothing. Get a Point A-Point B car, and continue to work with companies building custom projects, but keep my personal car stock (somewhat)

You'll have more luck selling your car in stock form and partying out the rest piece by piece.

Most people are not into cars. So unless you find the right buyer, that's happy with the way your car looks/acts/sounds you might not be able to sell it fast.

You are in CA so you might find a local buyer much faster than if you were selling this car in the midwest or the south.

Also, keep in mind that you will not get all of the 25-27k you invested in your car. You might be able to get 50% of what they are worth. It's sucks, but it's true.

Goldark, you're a genius... It says I am probably going to ask 30K for the car.

If I decide to part out, there will be a post about it. Please don't post here.

$30k is reasonable...i know there is more into it but that's the reality...i don't see you returning it back to stock and selling though...you have all the paint on the inside and stuff like that...it still won't look stock ya heard? good luck selling if that's what you choose

Here are some pics of the red dragon....

This one is a recent pic.

Another recent one.

...and another...

Here are some old shots of the interior. It still basically looks the same...

I think 30K is a pretty chill price... Putting this thing back to stock would be a bitch...

Ya, still one of the nicest IS's I've ever seen, Jeff. Not to mention how rare the Auburn is .

Hey , BTW, edgy and I are still having our rides fixed at Exotic, where I've heard you visited previously . :)

Good luck whatever you decide. Still gonna make decals for Lex people if you go elsewhere? My brake decals still look perfect after a year. :D
