i'm an idiot. i put a dent in my msm this morning. i was pulling out of my garage this morning and realized that i forgot my key card. i had to back out and i didn't see this metal protective pole. i hit it with the front end as i tried to make a three point U-turn. ruied the quarter panel and scuffed the bumber pretty bad. i couldn't believe it. i just stood there motionless. just beyond reaction. i'm feeling better now though. this is just me venting. i'll try to put a pic up later.

Oh, I sooo know the feeling!! I'm the king of doing stupid $hit.:)

I hate that dazed feeling! You just sit there and are like "wait, WTF just happened!?!?!". Kinda like you have to reprocess how stupid you just were cause not even you can believe it.

This will make you feel better, bro.

In the last month of my life.

1) Got bit by a brown recluse

2) wrecked my car to the tune of 12 + gs

3) hit a sandbar in my boat going about 60 mph during an outgoing tide. I had one lil bottle of water and was stuck there by myself for 6 hours till the tide came up.

4) When I got back to the dock from being stuck, I jumped on the dock and the face to my stero popped outta my pocket and into the water.

5) Lost my cell phone

6) lost a 2,500 dollar watch....

Welcome to my life, sir!:)

tread lightly,

<:(((><iest1

Having an idiot in a Mercedes waiting to make a right turn out of a gas station and not see me and another car in front of me stop to let a ped cross the street and pull out without looking and hit the back of my GGP and push me into the car in front of me both denting my front bumper and tearing the rear one along with a variety of other metal bendings! He wonders why after owning the car for 5 months I'm mad! There is a happy ending though, after telling his insurance company that no you can't just repair the front bumper because that is not the condition it was in before your guy hit me, you will replace it and having the body shop work with a local parts dealer to hook me up with an L-Sportline body kit and I'd pay the difference so I only need to come up with $500 for everything installed and painted! Sometimes from bad comes good.

Hey Merlin...they make aftermarket fenders now for our car...kind of look similar to the TRD ones for the Supra...might be a good way to go. Oh, and I know how you feel...I got ran over by a tractor trailer in my last IS in the middle of the city...talk about a crappy day.

looks like it's going to be $1500. new fender, repair bumper, and replace turn signal. actually i was lucky. two more millimeters and i would have hit the headlight assembly. that's an $1100 part on its own.

Yah, well about 5 months ago I wreck my dads brand new (less the a week old) SL500. I was comin around a turn and was used to the more responsive volvo s70 and underturned during a 90 degree turn. I was goin too fast for the conditions as well, but a red ford f-150 helped me slow down as I had a head on collision with him. Well to cut to the chase on the story. I had to get surgery twice on a broken ankle that lasted 3 months. And my dad just got his car back. 66k+ damage and yet it wasnt totalled. Not Cool.. talk about a bad day.. i had a bad quater of a year!
