what is the lowest drop spring you can get?not coilovers

The lowest spring that I ever remember hearing about for an IS300 are Tanabe's.......Can't remember which model.

But it's like a 3" inch drop....

the lower you go the worse your car will handle brake and drive in general AND the tires will pretty much dissappear in 6k miles...


lower is NOT "better" unless you can DROP it for a show/ meet what ever & LIFT it back up to a reasonable height for driving...

those things drop you almost 3"!!!!
do it at your own risk. you might like the slammed look, but will get sick of it after you go through tire after tire and more tire

I am using Tein S-tech springs/stock shocks. The front dropped more that 2" after the springs settled down.

BTW, s-tech/stock shocks are bad combo. If you have money to burn, buy the coilovers instead and do it right the first time. If you insist, tell the mofo mechanic that's gonna drop your car to torque the endlink bushings correctly or you're going to be one sorry mofo! It happened to me...how about you?
